STATE-OF-THE-ART DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT

By taking a comprehensive health history we can track changes that point to neuromusculoskeletal system dysfunction. A physical and neurological examination performed by the doctor (and diagnostic imaging such as X-rays when needed) ensure an accurate diagnosis.

The doctor will then review her findings and report them to the patient with an individualized treatment plan designed to produce the best possible effect. Whether using chiropractic manipulation, physiotherapy or brain-based therapy designed to stimulate a specific area of the brain and get those neurons firing, state-of-the-art methods are utilized in order to produce positive changes.

Brain-Based Therapies Include:

–          Vibration Therapy on one side of the body

–          Gentle Chiropractic Adjustments on one side of the body

–          T.E.N.S.

–          Heat

–          Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression

–          Traction

–          Specific Neurological Exercises

–          Mirror Image Exercises

–          Spin Therapy

In truth, anything that causes a barrage of sensory input to the brain can be considered brain-based therapy; the key is found in having the skill to apply that sensory barrage appropriately in order to achieve a beneficial therapeutic outcome.

Many patients report incredible results from their treatments…results they have never even come close to receiving from traditional chiropractic care.

In delivering brain-based therapy to her patients, Dr. Kevala also utilizes her extensive training in various chiropractic techniques – both traditional and non-force – in order to design a treatment plan that is specifically tailored to each individual patient.

Additionally, trigger point therapies, electrical muscle stimulation, soft tissue manipulation, ultrasound and decompression therapies add to the “tools in Dr. Kevala’s bag”.

No two patients are identical, so it is not possible to treat any two patients identically!
